Engender Health for Support of a Rightsbased Approach to Family Planning in Côte d’Ivoire

EngenderHealth works to improve access to and the quality of family planning and reproductive health services in more than 15 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in the public sector where many women seek services. EngenderHealth has also been an important partner in recent history in promoting a woman’s right to choose among the largest variety of modern contraceptive methods.

Using insights from previouslyfunded work, this grant will allow EngenderHealth to practically demonstrate how family planning service providers, policymakers and community members in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa can act to ensure women’s rights are respected when seeking services.
